EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION & DETAILS

One of the many highlights of this car is definitely the color and quality of paintwork by Best of Show Coachworks in San Marcos, CA. The color is PPG Mercedes silver. The quality of work is incredible and the finish is as smooth as glass. The car is a real head turner and has some nice custom features such as smoothed (removed) side marker lights, filled seams in the head light panel, and no body emblems for a smoothed finish. Along with the bright white, "hockey stick" style stripes you will find a short style rear spoiler as well as front spoiler, and new trim throughout! The details of the exterior are as follows:

* The body was stripped to bare metal before starting work.

* All exterior sheet metal and body panels are original.

* For product compatibility, only the finest PPG products were used throughout the painting process. PPG primer, PPG base coat, and PPG clear coat.

* The front end, doors, and trunk lid were all removed to allow the jambs to be properly painted. The car was then re-assembled and sent to the paint booth.

* After several coats of clear, the car was carefully wet sanded and meticulously polished to an incredible finish.

* Along with new moldings, new weather stripping was installed throughout.

* Billet aluminum tail light bezels with custom lenses from MARQUEZ DESIGN.

* Bright drivers lights from DETROIT SPEED AND ENGINEERING.

* BILLET SPECIALTIES rear view mirrors.

* Bumpers were re-chromed.
