VW Golf 2011 , Kupevarmer

I just bought a new VW Golf GTI 2011. The winters in Boston, where I live, can be horrendous, but kupevarmere are not available through VW America. I would like to buy one on my next trip to Norway, where they seem to be availble ( I remember having one on my old Boble in the 60's, made by Ebersprecher.) The unit needs to be a 12 V, using the car's own diesel supply to operate; it cannot be plugged into the wall (the US uses 120 volt vekselstrom). Ideally, it should have a built in timer. Where should I look for such a unit? The VW dealer in Oslo? Many thanks!

Eberspaecher and Webasto petrol/diesel vehicle heaters are sold in Norway. VW dealers also sell these, but I think they are a bit more expensive.

In Norway an Eberspaecher Hydronic D5WSC Compact costs about NOK 10000 and up (~ US $1725).
