Hvor kjøpe panserforlenger? bsbildeler eller noe lignende? men hva er forskjellen på med og uten TUV?

Er ikke helt sikker, men TÜV/ikke-TÜV dreier seg vel om hvor mye av lyktene som dekkes av forlengeren. Det vil med andre ord si at hvis den dekker lyktene så mye at lysbildet endres står bilen i fare for å bli underkjent ved kontroll.

det vil da si, at hvis eg tar den med TÜV så er blir bilen kodkjent?:)

 

Uansett hva du velger så burde du dobbelsjekke under montering av forlengeren at lysbildet ikke endres i vesentlig grad. Da er det i hvertfall mye mindre sjanse for at en kontrollør vil bite seg merke i den og kreve dokumentasjon av forlengeren og korrekt installasjon.

Best Material is OEM = PP Polyproplyene - same as your stock bumper. Can be formed in both square and round forms. Hard to find in the aftermarket but it is the best. I've only seen one R32 bumper that is this material in the aftermarket.

 

Second IMHO, is ABS - Hard Plastic - good for lips, grilles, valences and spoilers. Not many manufacturers make bumpers in ABS, it's very rare and expensive. Most sellers don't know the difference and use the term ABS for anything plastic but it's typically one of the other plastic materials on my list.

 

Third, is PU - Polyurathane, a bit softer than PP but very durable and good flex. I rank it lower than ABS because the above are injection or pressed which are very consistent and can form more shapes. PU typically is poured. Also PU can only do more rounded edge forms, for instance youll never see PU for a raised spoiler because it would sag. Plus it is slightly heavier than the other materials. That being said it is super durable and typically good fit.

 

Last would be Fiberglass - FRP and GFK are just fancy names for fiberglass since no one likes to hear the word Fiberglass. Yes FRP and GFK have a mixture of other materials in them but the majority is still fiberglass and still has the problems of Fiberglass. Fiberglass is good for spoilers since its rigid and can hold its shape over time and can do square forms. Problem when doing full bumpers is that GFK/FRP are all hand laid, this makes it hard to make sure that every bumper comes out the same. Plus the molds can degrade also affecting the consistency. Of course there are different levels of GFK/FRP, for instance Genuine Oettinger bumpers are usually good fit. Another big problem is that a lot of body shops won't even touch fiberglass these days or they'll charge a lot more for paint and install since it's more work. That could be a few hundred dollars more.

I've seen both good and bad fitting GFK/FRP so it's hard to tell how its going to fit. I would search around and compare. Typically if the shop is willing to pay the shipping to return a GFK/FRP bumper because of fitment, that's a good sign they have good stuff.

 

If you can find a good priced Plastic based bumper I think its a safer bet. PP for sure, they use metal molds so they are always the same. Typically more expensive but there is less work for your body shop. Plus the plastic ones usually have better inside fittings like clips and brackets that is hard to achieve in fiberglass.

takker for hjelpen, det vil si at dersom Bsbildeler har rett om det er ABS plast, så er det ganske bra det da:) konge det!

 

dette har ikke noe med panserforlenger å gjøre, men:

Når eg starter bilen, skal det ikke komme "kjørelys" da? altså, at eg skal slippe å så på lysbryteren for at det ska komme vanlige lys?

for nå når eg starter den, kommer det parklys på. det er vel ikke helt vanlig? eller?

det er første bilen, så har så mange ting eg vil vite skjønner dere:) hehe
