Indeed, after seeing noted how much that could raise the image of a manufacturer (one will think immediately of Audi who saw himself affublé of an image of cars of high technicality), VW was to finally exploit the potential of the Golf in these very mediatized races. It is in this context that the Golf Rally appeared. In order to mark the blow, the mark wanted to present a car technically higher than a simple Golf. Almost all separates a Rally from a GTI: initially mechanically: transmission syncro, compressing G60 (appeared not very front on Corrado), then aesthetically: wings before and back inflated, enveloping bumpers painted completely in the color of the body, just like rétros (electric), the grill and the back becquet. Let us add the rectangular headlights (odd for a Golf!) and rims 15 inches of Corrado. The equipment is not remains about it with ABS, the power-assisted steering, leather on the reinforcements of seats (splendid), the counter-doors, the wheel and the pommel. At the sight of all these characteristics, one sees that VW wanted to make return the Golf in the court of large. Indeed, final, the "animal" does not cost far from 190.000 F and its weight approaches 1200 kg (to be compared with the "normal" GTI which is worth 2 times less expensive and which returns 250 kg to him). Let us add the inertia of the integral transmission (there is always a loss of performance on one 4 driving wheels) and we have a car with the disappointing stopwatches (to be compared with those of the GTI). In fact, one is especially disappointed compared to what VW had the means of putting on the market. The car has a formidable handling (and still, too typified comfort...), an effective braking (diameter of the discs increased with before and with the back), but lack singularly of peps. On such a car, it would have been necessary to leave 210 CH series in order to make it really exclusive (without of course increasing the tariff, unrealistic person at the time). Moreover, its look did not really achieve the unanimity at the time (personally, I find that it has a certain charm, perhaps with the fact that it is rare and that to see some today inevitably makes me turn the head!). A small word in connection with the transmission. The syncro is characterized owing to the fact that it is not permanent: the aft wheels are not coupled more at the time of brakings (the car thus behaves like a traction at this time precise). At the time of a reacceleration, the 4 wheels pass the power on the ground. Amusing in the steep turns, the car swivels, and if the back skids, it is enough to go around! Finally, the Rally will never have shone in the various races (they were very few) to which it took part. To conclude, in order not to leave the customers on their hunger, VW was to put the same engine in a "normal" case, which was made little time afterwards with the GTI G60. Also, I could not prevent me from speaking about the Limited Golf. This Golf, largely ignored of French (since it was marketed only in Germany) was produced in very limited quantity. It is in fact a Golf of very discrete appearance (5 doors small bumpers base), exclusively black metal, calenders 2 headlights (in order to cool the engine as well as possible), all options (leather, clim, sliding roof...), rims BBS RM 15 inches, blue net on the grill (instead of the red). The centre piece is its engine (compressing gone up on the 16S) which returns 210 CH. Inevitably coupled with the Syncro transmission (without what tires AV would leave quickly in smoke!), the car gave performances to be compared with those of m3 of the time... The Golf Rally such as it should have appeared. Tjah? Because of their scarcity, the Golf Rally were monnaient expensive (up to 9000€). All the recommendations made for the GTI 8s and 16s are also valid here. Only, it should not be forgotten that the Rally has in more one compressor (its replacement cost makes it possible for example to be bought beautiful a 1800! ) and an integral transmission (hello the invoice also in the event of pip...). Fortunately, these elements are rather reliable if the former owner maintained correctly his car (regular revisions at VW...). If all that does not frighten you (I want to frighten nobody), with you pleasures of leading this Golf not like the others. One can bet besides that it will be a future collector. Håper dette holder :D

  7. Tviler på att dette er en spøk, fant dette bilde via en nettavis. Men hvordan skjedde eksplosjonen?
  8. Sterke saker :eek: Folka som bodde der fødte vist nokk rare barn og her er ett eksempel. Stakkers barn, her er en gutt som sin mor eller far var offer av katastrofen :eek: (er dette frastøtende matriale så si ifra så fjerner jeg det!) Hvordan skjedde kattastrofen? var det som en eksplosjon slik som den atom eksplosjonen som var med i den Terminator filmen eller var det som en gass som lakk?
  9. micraen er under konstruksjon den :D det er bare litt mekk igjen, men har lyst på gti men har altid lurt på hvor mye det går ann og tune den osv.;)

Hehe, neida, jeg driter ikke penger, jeg sa bare om jeg f.eks. hadde 100 000,- til og bruke på motoren, menmen. skulle jeg brukt 100 000,- på motor så måtte jo sikkerheten stått i stil kan jeg tenke meg, da mener jeg bedre bremser osv. Men det er ingen som har nevnt turbo her, er det en grunn til det?

  13. Hei. Jeg lurer på hvor mye kan jeg få ut av en vanlig VW Golf GTI 16V 1989mod? Kom med forslag, alt fra turbo til fartstriper :D og hvis dere hadde giddet og skrevet f.eks. hvor mye det ville ha kosta og puttet i en turbo eller andre deler som får bilen til og sparke bedre... Er det ikke 136 org. hk. i en GTI 16V?

  15. MEGA LOL!!! jeg går i klasse med han fyren :eek: bilen ser nokk ganske skabby ut på bilde men det er faktisk en rå bil når du ser den i real time. ps. "snøplogene" er nå av og den ser , JA, bedre ut...
