Formula One engine supplier Cosworth is beefing up its

japanese engine parts marketing by signing up Japanese

tuning specialist Torque Developments International (TDI),

in Thurrock, Essex, as its distributor.

 

Northampton-based Cosworth was traditionally associated with

high-performance Ford road and raceing engines, but it has

branched out into Japanese cars, notably the Mitsubishi Lancer

Evolution, Subaru Impreza, Nissan 350Z and Honda Civic Type-R.

 

Currently available products include big-valve cylinder heads,

forged pistons and conrods, sporties camshafts, race-specification

bearings and gaskets. A ready-to-go, ported, big valves cylinder

head for an Impreza, for example, costs £2548. The components

are manufactured in a number of different countries, including UK.
