Hello. And first, thanks to those of you who can help me with this. Have tried searching the forum for clues, but now I need some more specific help. The car will start and run for 1-2 seconds without problems before dying. But there is no instrument/warning lights in the instrument before or after it starts, only the milage and outside temperature showing in the display. Electrical windows, radio, locking system and such are working as normal. It's a 2005 VW Golf 1.9 TDI 4-Motion, engine; BKC/BKE Things I tried: 1. New and fully charged battery 2. Spare keys and also a new key with new immobilizer programmed 3. Checked all the fuses and relays next to the battery and under the dashboard, even tried to change some of the relays. 4. ''Vag-com readout gives limited information as it can't fully connect with the ECU'' -what I were told by the workshop Things I still have to try or hopefully first exclude with your help: 1. Diesel pump. It seems to work, and the one under the back seat deliver diesel to the pump. And if there were a problem with the pump, would the car start every time just fine, but cut out after 1-2 secounds? Also it does not explain the missing lights in the insturment panel, or would those be missing if there were a problem with the pump? 2. Ignition switch? I read in the forums this were mostly a problem on the older generations? Also this were a sudden problem accuring, with no warning or other faults. Also I tried to turn over the key very slowly, ''wiggle'' it, etc, no difference. Also it seems like most people having a problem with it don't get the car to start at all? Open for new ideas and all the help I can get
